My Story
I’m Nicole — cancer survivor, nature-seeker, and the heart behind From Chemo to Campfires.
My life changed in ways I never expected the moment I finished treatment. The world felt different. I felt different. I knew I needed a life rooted in peace, meaning, and freedom — not fear.
So I bought a camper van named Jubilee, grabbed Rocky, and started traveling through the Southwest in search of healing.
What I found was a new version of myself — softer, stronger, braver, and more alive than ever.
Nature has a way of holding us when nothing else can.Out in the desert, beneath pine trees, beside campfires — I learned how to breathe again. I learned how to trust my body again. I learned how to live gently, slowly, and with intention.The road became my reset button.The wild became my medicine.
